The hormone strepson affects the growth of plants and can cause mutations in the shape and color of the plant.

The mutations that occur cannot usually be influenced. Although individual leaves of the plant can be stimulated to mutate through injections, the result is always open. As a rule, you simply add the preparation to the irrigation water. Pre-treatments using small needle pricks in the lower stem area when applied with a spray bottle accelerate mutation development. How does the hormone strepsone affect ornamental plants?

Unfortunately, you have no direct influence on the mutation. So it’s pure coincidence what happened. But that’s exactly what’s so interesting about this product. Of course, the mutation can also be propagated through offshoots. In most cases there are color changes in the leaves and flowers. In some plants such as B.     Corona is restricting air traffic all over the world. But this also means that postal delivery is affected.

    Indonesia has been in lockdown since March 15, 2020. A relief in August was withdrawn by the Indonesian government. The new plan is now to start the gradual opening of Indonesia in January 2021. Until this point, shipping is only possible via express. However, this shipping method works reliably. Shipping to Germany usually takes 5 to 10 working days.

    In order to get an overview, I would like to show you the shipping costs that you will incur when placing an order. The shipping costs are usually calculated on the one hand based on the shipping weight and on the other hand based on the volume.

    Scope calculation / shipping costs:

    L x W x H / 6,000

    30 cm x 20 cm x 20 cm / 6,000 = 2 kg

    This means that even if the item weighs only 500 grams, the shipping costs would be 2 kg.

    Furthermore, the shipping costs depend on the exchange rate, which causes the shipping costs to vary. At the same time, the value of the goods in the delivery influences the insurance costs, which are usually negligible.

    Due to the restrictions on air and shipping traffic, standard shipping and sea freight will probably not be possible until mid-August. However, express shipping works without any problems.

    Air traffic has been restricted in Indonesia since mid-March. This means that shipping is only possible via Express Shipping. So far the restrictions have been extended twice. The next date for further opening of Indonesia to international air traffic will be decided on August 18, 2020.

    As soon as standard shipping is possible again, we will announce this in a separate article. Until then, shipping from Indonesia is only possible via express shipping. 

    The delivery time of the package is usually 5 to 10 working days and works without any major problems. If you have any questions, you can contact us at any time. However, there may be shorter delays because the packages are not brought directly from Jakarta to Germany, as this tracking shows!

    The Corona crisis also has the trade in goods fully under control. Standard shipping has been discontinued from Indonesia. Only express shipping is possible!

    Shipping of standard parcels in Indonesia is handled by passenger aircraft. Indonesia has been in a shutdown for a month and has closed its airports to international flights. A gradual opening of the country is planned from June 1, 2020. However, it is still unclear when the first passenger planes will land again. The opening of air traffic is currently being postponed by 14 days and then checked again.

    Express shipping is currently the only shipping method that works. Delivery can be guaranteed here. Although there may be delays as packages are collected, delivery to Germany is possible within 5 to 10 working days. The longest delivery time in recent deliveries was 12 working days.

    In May 2020 I sent 14 items by express to Germany, Austria, USA and Mexico and they were all delivered with slight delays. It can therefore be assumed that shipping goods from Indonesia by express will work 100 percent during the Corona crisis.

    As soon as life has returned to normal, we will of course also offer inexpensive postal shipping. However, it is currently not possible. For high-priced products such as Seiko collector’s watches, express shipping is generally recommended, as this means you have to go to the customs office and pay the applicable customs fees directly to the postman.

      The buyer from Germany was looking for American-style floor mats for his Jeep and found a supplier at Bukalapak!

      He turned to me and I made him an offer to purchase it and then ship it to Germany. After approving the offer and choosing the payment option via PayPal, I will issue the customer an invoice for the purchase and shipping to Germany via PayPal.

      After payment was made, I ordered the item Bukalapak, which was delivered the same day via GoJek (delivery service by moped). I checked the goods and sent the customer a photo. Then it was time to pack the two floor mats for the Jeep.

      Shipping takes place via postal package and should be delivered to the customer in two to four weeks. You can assume that the package will be delivered to your local customs office nearby. The customer then receives a letter and has to go there with the payment receipt from PayPal.

      Customs topic:

      Unfortunately, in Germany, customs are only allowed to open the package if the recipient or a postal employee is on site (postal secrecy). In Frankfurt, where all deliveries by flight are processed through customs, people seem to be completely overwhelmed, so only express shipments are processed there. Therefore, the packages are then sent to the internal customs offices near the delivery location.

      You can also order customs clearance through the post office, but my experience is that it is more likely that the item will be returned to the sender. The customs and postal employees seem to be sleeping a little again or simply want to save themselves the extra work.

      You should therefore consider traveling to the internal customs office in person. The fees charged by customs should generally correspond to VAT. Please note that shipping costs are always included. If the shipping costs are €50, €9.50 import tax must also be paid plus the import tax for the value of the goods, which corresponds to the amount of VAT. In some cases, additional fees (storage and administration fees) may apply.

      The buyer from Germany was looking for the “Gold Peter Studio Jozu Resin Statue” collectible figure and found it on Facebook in Indonesia!

      By searching “Shipping from Indonesia” on Google, he came across our article,

      in our blog “Emigrating to Indonesia – bayi.de” and wrote us an email. After a short email exchange, we switched to WhatsApp and continued our conversation there.

      The following problems existed!

      • Private seller without their own shop
      • Judging from the photos, the figure was real, but whether the photos were of him was still questionable
      • Seller only wanted to accept expensive express shipping

      Our task was to arrange a meeting with the seller and present the figure to the buyer in Germany in a live video chat.

      The invoice was sent via Paypal and paid by the buyer. Of course, we gave him the guarantee that if the purchase contract was not concluded, he would receive the invoice amount back minus our travel fees! 

      We made an appointment with the seller and met him at a shopping center in Jakarta. The figure was presented to us and we showed the figure to the buyer in Indonesia in a video chat. He agreed to the purchase and we gave the agreed purchase amount to the buyer.

      Affordable shipping by sea freight!

      The package weighed 3.8 kilograms. The shipping costs here were…

      • Postal parcel delivery time (2-4 weeks) = €143
      • Sea freight delivery time (1-2 months) = €48.38

      The buyer decided on the cheaper sea freight shipping and saved over €240 in shipping costs!

      Our fees that we charged the buyer were 20 percent of the total + €30 for meeting the seller in a mall in Jakarta (distance one way 46 km)

      What can the buyer expect at customs?

      The package by sea freight usually arrives in Hamburg or Rotterdam and is then transported overland and handed over to Deutsche Post. For shipments of goods, this usually hands over the package to internal customs, which is located near the destination of this package.

      Internal customs then writes a letter saying that a package has been deposited and that you should pick it up. To do this, you need proof of payment, which you have with the paid Paypal invoice. Simply print it out and take it with you to customs. The customs officer will open the package in your presence and check the contents.

      What other costs are there?

      As a rule, shipments of goods up to a value of €25 are duty-free. Only then will import tax be charged. If import tax is levied, this corresponds to the VAT rate of 7 or 19 percent.

      Attention!

      The import tax is also charged on the shipping costs!!!! So the shipping costs are 100 €, an additional 19 € may be due here.

      Furthermore, certain goods may be subject to import regulations. The coffee tax still exists in Germany. This is €2.19 per kilogram for coffee beans and ground coffee and €4.19 per kilogram for instant coffee. This tax is calculated pro rata. So for 200 grams you only pay €0.44.

      If you’re lucky, the post office will deliver the package directly to you without customs processing. However, this is a matter of luck.
